Welcome to Adams School. Our mission is to provide a quality education in a safe learning environment through a shared relationship with our community. Our vision is to be proactive and student-oriented while providing experiences through innovative curriculum and caring people, thereby preparing students to become life-long learners. The community of Creal Springs is located in southeastern Williamson County. Adams School houses Pre-K through 8th grade students living in the community and surrounding district areas. It is part of the Marion Unit 2 School District, and students who graduate continue their education at Marion High School.
Our school is the cornerstone of the community and provides services for a variety of local organizations and charities. The faculty and staff are very dedicated to the education and well-being of our students while instilling values that reflect our community. Our eductional team pledges to uphold the academic reputation of success. Adams School highlights include the Golden Spike School Award (2002), Illinois Academic Improvement Award (2005), and the pretigious Academic Spotlight Award (2006). We have experienced success in our standardized test scores that are superior to other schools in our demographic category across Illinois.
It is our goal that all students receive an education that fits their learning style aligned to state standards and that all students know success. We take pride in excellence in the areas of academics, exploratory and pilot programs, fine and applied arts, athletics, and resources for special needs students. Our current structure was built in 2012 and is a state-of-the-art facility that replaces the 100 year old Creal Springs School.
